As 547 Energy’s General Counsel, Katie Wiley is responsible for all of 547 Energy’s legal endeavors, including mergers and acquisitions, transaction structuring, contracting, corporate governance and compliance.

Prior to joining 547 Energy, Katie was a Senior Counsel at Exxon Mobil Corporation and supported the company in multibillion dollar acquisitions, divestments and joint development projects. Katie started her legal career as an associate in the New York and London offices of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, a leading international law firm. While at Skadden, Katie worked on large-scale financings of energy and infrastructure-related projects throughout the world and several complex and groundbreaking cross-border project development transactions.

Katie is licensed to practice law in New York and Texas. She earned a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from New York University and a law degree, magna cum laude, from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law, where she was an editor of the Ohio State Law Journal and elected to the Order of the Coif.
