As 547 Energy’s Vice President of Finance and Accounting, Gbolade Odeneye oversees accounting and financial reporting, treasury, risk management, internal controls, tax compliance, payroll management and various HR functions for the company. Gbolade also works closely with 547 Energy’s investment team and portfolio companies to support their various strategic initiatives, business planning and ongoing investment activities.

Prior to joining 547 Energy, Gbolade was the Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Quintana Capital Group, a private fund focused on upstream, downstream and oilfield services investments. While at Quintana, Gbolade was responsible for the LP investor relations, fund administration, tax compliance and financial reporting. Gbolade also served as Vice President & Corporate Controller for one of Quintana’s portfolio companies, where he participated in the initial public offering of the company. Previously, Gbolade held Head of Finance roles within Aker Solutions’ US Subsea Division and Curtiss Wright Corporation’s Oil & Gas Division. Gbolade began his career in London as a senior analyst at Enron Europe, before joining EY as a senior associate.

Gbolade completed an Executive MBA at Texas A&M May’s Business School. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Manchester Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom. Gbolade is a licensed CPA in the State of Texas and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the United Kingdom.
